Moving a Table

We move all makes and styles of tables. We highly recommend this should only be done by a Certified Professional billiard table restoration company like ours for the following reasons:

1.) To maintain the factory warranty provided you are the original owner.

2.) Tables CANNOT be moved in one piece. Serious damage will occur to almost every part of the table.

In the vast majority of situations, we will be able to re-use your old cloth.  Beware of companies that insist you need new cloth. Those individuals or company personnel are looking to make an unnecessary sale or are not able to handle the moving project correctly.

Our trucks are specially equipped and our personnel are specifically trained to move tables.

Slate Seam Repairs

When we re-do the seams, it is done with an approved product for a complete and level seam, leaving an invisible joint between the slates.

Table Installation

We will install all tables as close to BCA and WPA specifications and requirements as possible.  However, most rooms in a home will not meet all specifications.  In these cases, we will set them as close as the room will allow.

Most BCA and WPA specifications are for the manufacturing of the table and requirements for sanctioned tournaments.  All tables will be flat and level upon completion of the job and you will be encouraged to check them yourself for complete satisfaction.

No matter whom you purchase your table through, our installation services are available, call for your quote.

Cloth Repairs & Replacement

Do not remove the cloth from your table yourself. DO NOT try to wash it. Both of these activities will cost you additional money and headaches.  All good quality cloth is made of at least 75% wool and will shrink. It will not be able to be reinstalled on your table.  A lot of the time you can get most of the chalk off of your table by using a table brush to clean it.  Burn marks / wear marks do not come off even with washing as they are actually damage to the cloth itself.

Cushion Repairs & Replacement

Spot repairs can be made onsite on loose cushions, but they cannot be guaranteed.  Most of the time it is not an effective fix anyway. A professional and much less expensive fix in the long run is to have the cushions repaired or replaced in our shop.

New cushions must be replaced in the shop to make sure they are properly set to Billiard Congress of America (BCA) and World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) standards for you to have a proper rebound.  These regulations set the proper height for the nose of the cushion to work correctly along the angles of the cuts on the end of the rails.  They will also be properly fastened to the liner of the rail only if assembled in our shop.

DO NOT LET SOMEONE TELL YOU THEY CAN DO IT PROPERLY ONSITE. IT CANNOT BE DONE.  THE CUSHIONS WILL NOT HAVE THE PROPER TIME TO SET AND YOU WILL WASTE TIME AND MONEY AND WILL HAVE TO HAVE REDONE AGAIN IN THE SHOP!

To test your cushions the ball should travel 4 to 4 ½ times the length of the table doing a test in the following manner.  Shoot the ball from the head spot thru the foot spot with a level cue shot using a firm stroke with center English.
